Lilydale District School Oval

Kinder – Year 10: Tuesday 25th – Wednesday 26th March (Week 8) 9:30am – 2:30pm

Lilydale’s annual Athletics Carnival will take place on Tuesday 25th – Wednesday 26th March at the school oval. This year, the event spans two days, with Kinder – Year 2 participating on Wednesday afternoon from 11:45am - 1pm.

Attendance: All students must attend as per Department of Education guidelines. Spectators must sign in on arrival and are encouraged to watch from the grandstand or along the road to get a full view of the carnival.

Schedule: Students will attend Home Group until 9:20am, followed by a move to the oval for a 9:30am start. The carnival concludes at 2:30pm, and students will return to classrooms for a 3pm dismissal.

Carnival Format: The event will be in a tabloid format, with students moving between events in year-level groups (e.g., Year 4, Year 8). See timetable and maps below

What to Bring: Students should bring extra food, plenty of water, and wear their house colours (Red for Maralinga, Blue for Corinna). If dressing up, it must not interfere with participation. Students should also wear hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen, and bring warm clothing for changing weather. Sunscreen will be available from staff.

Canteen Orders: The school canteen will only serve pre-purchased orders through the QKR app, handed out during scheduled times.
